What is Dermaplaning ?

Dermaplaning is a treatment which uses a sterilised surgical blade to remove fine vellus hair and keratinized cells from the outer layers of the epidermis, which leaves the skin looking fresh, glowing and clean and can be used in conjunction with other salon treatments.

Dermaplaning training is highly recommended in the beauty industry, as it takes up hardly any time and is a high in-demand treatment. Dermaplaning is an exfoliation treatment that works to remove dead skin cells that reside in the upper layer of the skin.

This treatment is quick and relatively simple once you know-how, taking just under thirty minutes to administer and complete.  This treatment improves the health of the skin, leaving it fresh and incredibly smooth

Course Structure

This course is delivered over 1 day, in the morning we will deliver the theory then in the afternoon you will work on a live model perfecting the treatment. The course will start at 9.30am and finish around 4.30pm.

1-day intense practical training

Requirements

Level 2 beauty, SMPU experience, Accredited A&P qualification, Medical Professional. Other qualifications may be considered so please get in touch.
