Microneedling Course Structure

1. Pre-Course Study

• Overview of skin anatomy and physiology
• Understanding skin types and conditions
• Introduction to microneedling techniques and tools
• Health and safety protocols, including infection control
• Client consultation best practices

2. Training Day: Theory and Practical Application

Morning Session:

• In-depth review of microneedling and collagen induction therapy
• Overview of the Dermapen device, settings, and handling
• Benefits of microneedling for various skin concerns (acne scars, pigmentation, fine lines, etc.)
• Proper needle depth selection for different skin areas and conditions
• Guidelines for product application post-treatment, such as serums for enhanced results

Afternoon Session:

• Live demonstrations on different skin types
• Hands-on practice under instructor supervision
• Safe and hygienic application techniques for real clients
• Post-treatment care and managing client expectations
• Troubleshooting common issues and handling contraindications

3. Assessment and Certification

• Practical assessment to evaluate skill proficiency
• Final Q&A session to clarify techniques and procedures
• Certification awarded upon successful completion

Students must hold a level 3 A&P qualification

     • Hands-on training with microneedling devices, understanding settings, needle depths, and proper handling.
     • Selecting correct needle depths for different areas and skin concerns to achieve optimal results.
  5. Product Application and Aftercare
     • Guidance on post-treatment application of serums to enhance results.
     • Best practices for post-care advice to clients, including managing expectations for healing and outcomes.
  6. Practical Application and Live Models
     • Demonstrations and supervised hands-on practice on live models.
     • Real-time feedback from trainers to refine technique and build confidence.
  7. Troubleshooting and Contraindications
     • Identifying and managing contraindications and potential treatment issues.
     • Techniques to handle different client needs and adapt approaches as needed.
  8. Certification and Assessment

This course comes with a Microneedlin device.

Students are required to provide one model for the course. We also provide models

Adhere to the uniform policy – students are required to wear all black attire.

Upon finishing the course successfully and completing case studies, you will be awarded a certificate recognising you as a qualified Miconeedling specialist.
