Dermaplaning is a treatment which uses a sterilised surgical blade to remove fine vellus hair and keratinized cells from the outer layers of the epidermis, which leaves the skin looking fresh, glowing, and clean.
The dermaplaning blade glides over the skin at a 45-degree angle, by doing this it leaves the surface extremely smooth and radiant, also any dirt and fluffy peach fuzz is removed. How does Dermaplaning work?
Dermaplaning is an exfoliation treatment that works to remove dead skin cells that reside in the upper layer of the skin. Dermaplaning is performed on the face only. We do not plane the eyelids or chest.
This treatment can be performed every 3 to 4 weeks for maintenance and proper skin exfoliation. For correction of acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and skin rejuvenation purposes, it may be performed at a closer interval.
It is an excellent choice for extremely sensitive skin, redness and rosacea or visible facial veins. The treatment is painless and very safe, and the hair does grow back, however it is just a soft as it was prior to treatment. It will not grow back thicker.
