Russian Lips have taken the aesthetics industry by storm in the last couple of years, this is an advanced lip filler treatment which creates a visibly flatter, higher, and sharper lip taking into consideration the cupid bow enhancement. How do Russian Lips work?
The Russian Lip treatment involves placing tiny droplets of filler, injected vertically into the lip, compared to lines of filler underneath the border. This technique widens, lifts and opens the lip body without any compromise of projection.
This is an advanced technique which has become massively popular within the last couple of years, this is a progression on from traditional lip filler augmentation. We still use Hyaluronic acid-based products like we do the same to traditional lip filler but the way it’s injected is slightly different and a smaller thinner needle is used to create channels within the body of the lip.
During your consultation your practitioner will discuss in detail what you’re looking to achieve and your desired results taking into consideration your natural anatomy and the best place where it can be injected safely and most comfortable. Your practitioner will also consider what will compliment your natural facial features and side profile to achieve a natural looking enhancement. Before the procedure is carried out your Aesthetic Clinician will numb the area prior to treatment, this is to ensure maximum comfort throughout your procedure.
